An Apprenticeshop Boat Launch

Founded in 1972, The Apprenticeshop in Rockland Maine, strives to be a catalyst for the revival of traditional wooden boatbuilding at a time when the craft and the apprentice way of learning are deemed to be extinct. When a new boat is complete, it must be christened and launched, paying extra care to give thanks to Poseidon and the sea.
